Tracing your ancestors and placing them in a social context.
A series of 4 morning sessions at my home, commencing 09.30 on a Thursday. I would signpost how to access free and valuable
websites and other resources to acquire knowledge of family ancestors. I also think it’s essential to place discovered ancestors
into a social context of the time so that they are not just names but can also understand conditions in which they lived.
For example, my ancestor may be called Mary Smith but did she have enough to eat and why did she die so young?
