This class is aimed at absolute beginners with little or no knowledge of the German language. It will help people communicate in everyday situations. Basic reading listening and speaking skills are covered at a leisurely pace in a relaxed atmosphere.
Advanced - Tuesdays: 11:00am to 1:00pm

German Conversation Group
Canford Cliffs Village Hall, Ravine Road, Poole
Tuesdays: 11:00am to 12:30pm (this group meets informally during the summer)
This course is intended for those who have an advanced knowledge of the German language and who are keen and have the desire to take part in simple conversations. The object of this course is to improve the participants’ competence and confidence in speaking and understanding the language (several of the current participants have lived and worked in German speaking countries). The work is based on short stories, newspaper articles, current topics and past and current life in Germany. There is less focus on written German, spelling and grammar, but these areas are also covered. The class is run by a German national, now retired, and living in Poole.
