Lacemaking
Branksome Library, Ashley Road, Upper Parkstone, Poole

Thursdays: 3:15pm to 5:15pm

Bobbin Lacemaking is a satisfying hobby for both men and women, and it is not as difficult as it looks. If you have ever watched bobbin lace being made and thought it looked difficult with so many bobbins and the lacemaker going so fast, don’t be put off because, no matter how many bobbins there are, the lacemaker only manipulates four bobbins (two pairs) at a time. Once the basic stitches have been learnt (there are only two!) you can progress from Torchon to Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Honiton laces.

Please phone Dianne on 778616 for more details.
