We practice a short form Tai Chi, based on the 'Yang Style Short Form Tai Chi Chuan'.
Ours is not a true form but we have practiced it for several years and we are now an experienced group.

As our group is not for beginners you will either need to have done the two year beginner's course or be experienced in some form of Tai Chi to join our group, but we do welcome new members.

Tai Chi 24 Form Qi Gong - Improvers (130)

The class will start with essential Qi gong exercises to warm up joints and muscles, working slowly through the areas of the body to improve balance and mind. The Tai Chi in the 24 form is the most popular for beginners so ideal for older people.

I have been practicing Tai Chi for 19 years and hope I can instil upon my class my love of this ancient Chinese exercise which I practice daily.

Tai Chi Yang Style Short Form - 2nd Year (134)

The tai chi beginners course is a 2 year course. It is a form based on yang style short form. Tai chi is a moving meditation. We have a warm up session to start with gentle exercise and balance exercises. Then we learn and practice the form before closing down. It is very calming and therapeutic to practice tai chi.

This workshop is for people who have already learnt and enjoy, the short Yang form of Tai Chi. It is not suitable for beginners.

The Workshop follows on from Tai Chi for Beginners. The Tai Chi workshop is for those who know all six segments of the short form Yang Style. We are constantly working on improving our movements with feet placement essential, aiming for the whole class to move as one body.
