Classes are held in a clean, well lit, heated hall large enough for 20. It is easily accessible and central. I offer individual help where needed. The atmosphere is convivial and the objectives clear. Members are there to learn and to practice at home, in order to delay the onset of many ageing processes and to maintain remediation of problems already in existence. We make connections with life-style choices and health options. Emphasis is on flexibility and well-being, suppleness and balance. Work is differentiated. Students have shown great commitment through attendance and the purchase of equipment.

A class for those who have slight knowledge of yoga and for those who have practised yoga to a medium standard but lack motivation to practise yoga regularly at home. There is a basic structure to class and participants are encouraged to give their input.

The relaxation benefits yoga gives through breathing techniques and basic meditation using music and visualisation techniques also form the framework of the class as well as the health benefits it offers.
