This Guitar Workshop class is for all those who can already play the guitar but have struggled to progress much further than strumming along to songs and don’t know how they can move forward onto more advanced playing - think a lot of us can relate to that one! There is a guitar tutor and we consist of a group of guitar enthusiasts with a diverse range of abilities whereby we follow subjects that we are interested in learning more about, all within a casual, friendly environment!

U3A Guitar Group (64)

Poole u3a intermediate guitar group has a few vacancies for guitar players who wish to join in fun sessions on Thursday afternoons. This is not a beginners' class but a group of players of varying degrees of ability. It is not necessary to be able to read music, but a knowledge of at least basic guitar chord shapes is essential.
The main aim is to play music for enjoyment and to have fun.
The classes run throughout u3a term times on Thursday afternoons.
