Padel Tennis

Cross Court Padel Club - Upton Road, Creekmoor, Poole, BH17 7AH

Please see day and time information on the Class Finder page

Padel is a new racquet sport, and a cross between tennis, squash, and racquetball. It is played on an indoor (or outdoor) court with a net across the middle and walls around the outside. It is the fastest growing new sport in the UK and ideally suited for the over 50's. Rules for padel are similar to tennis, making it a great introductory sport.

Classes are held every Tuesday afternoon at the purpose built Indoor Padel courts in Creekmoor. There is ample parking available at the Sports Club.

Poole u3a offers one beginner's class and two intermediate classes. All classes run for 90 minutes.  We only play doubles at u3a, although the game can be played as singles.

Beginners (Class 89)

Ideal for anyone who hasn’t played racquet sports recently - or ever. These sessions also suit improvers who want to build confidence and progress. You’ll be surprised how quickly your skills develop.

Intermediate (Classes 90 & 99)

Designed for members who play racquet sports regularly and have a reasonable level of experience. You don’t need to be a club player or compete in leagues - just comfortable with the basics and ready for a challenge.

Please enrol early to avoid disappointment as numbers are limited.
